Bethesda Confirms Future Plans For Players Of Fallout 76 Access Hidden Vaults

It's pretty common for gamers to find themselves in a specific area or a room of a game that's not supposed to be seen. Unfortunately, the game of Fallout 76 has been the example of this numerous times. Back to January 2019, players had miraculously gained access to the room of developer - a location that holds every in-game item in existence. When news began to surface online, it became a scramble to secure the best equipment that players can find. And finally, this resulted in a plethora of banned accounts by Bethesda. Since then, there have been massive reports of inaccessible rooms being "accessed" by gamers, with the recent news example bringing news about future plans for this game. This information comes from a Reddit user, McStaken, after unintentionally appearing inside Vault 63.

This team had just started one of the many Rad-Rat Horde events that appear in-game, and then they were suddenly transported inside the vault. After taking some screenshots of the locked area, screenshots can be seen above. McStaken contacted Fallout 76 support team to avoid any potential consequences, which is a smart move, especially considering the massive amount of banning that followed the developer room incident. However, when Bethesda responded to the thread later on, they teased some new information for the vaults of Fallout 76.

  Here is what they responded:

"Glad to hear you got in and out of the Vault in one piece. These Vaults are still under construction, but we look forward to sharing more on how they will become part of the game."

Thank goodness, this response did not come with a warning (even though they are supposed to), instead, it even hinted at new content for the coming future, probably involving multiple vaults in the game. Taking McStaken's screenshots into consideration, it's likely that vault 63, vault 94 and vault 96 will all be included, due to the fact that all three vaults were built for a quest that was assumed to be cut from the final release. Few details are available about the mission itself. But the Fandom Wiki indicates that it may involve fire outbreak, reactor meltdown or a riot.

Besides that, there is nothing more to speculate on, and it does not seem like Bethesda will have anything new to share until later. And fortunately, any player that finds themselves trapped inside Vault 63 due to the event could fast travel out and back into the wasteland in no time. And of course, they will not be banned because of what they did.

And in the meanwhile, if you find yourself inside another inaccessible location in the game of Fallout 76, we believe that you already what to do. For our players, we would like to access a vault and get as many as fallout 76 items and that will not affect our accounts such as Fallout 76 caps, weapons, and other guidance...Maybe I am asking too much and none of that would happen, right? Anyway, we'll be waiting for the screenshots from different vaults.
