Poe Weapon Atziri's Disfavour guides with Builds
Technically speaking, Cyclone does get the most out of Atziri's Disfavour since other skills don't care about its extraordinary weapon range. You can do whatever you want with it, of course, but to non-Cyclone skills Disfavour is just an AXE with decent DPS. in build press Getting Atziri's Disfavour Atziri's Disfavour as early as possible will boost your damage output a great deal. If Poe currency is your concern, why would you even consider a Disfavour in the first place? You can buy rare Vaal axes at almost the same DPS at half the price quickly. You are usually duelist, so the bleed isn't that big, and the +gem levels aren't super amazing for non-spellcaster builds. My point is that Disfavour is super overrated, it's way too pricy compared to what a rare Vaal AXE can do. Every 2h build suggests Disfavour so it must be good kappa.

NO.1 How to get Atziri's Disfavour
Only drop from uber Atziri in the Alluring Abyss and cannot be changed.
NO.2 Upgrade Atziri's Disfavour
You can use The Last One Standing x10 to Upgrade Atziri's Disfavour. The kaom's and Atziri's Disfavour is about all. The salute with curse will be stupid expensive. Not needed in my opinion still a content killer with just a regular tribute running one evil.
NO.3 Compare with Starforge
The raw physical damage of Starforge Slayer isn't all that much higher than the Raw physical Damage of a Disfavour slayer. I've compared several builds and tinkered with it myself. When the gear levels are similar, the physical DPS is pretty close, with a slight advantage to Starforge.
So this means that the elemental damage is mostly just a bonus. It's also a pretty significant bonus, both in Damage and QoL. Also, simply because there is more elemental resistance. Doesn't mean that the elemental damage is useless without penetration. It's fairly significant damage, even when you take resistances into account. You can quickly check this in PoB, and it's not bugged like some skills.
The damage on Disfavour is substantially higher in most scenarios. You also have to QoL of Hatred and Herald of Ash. What's even more, you also gain full effect from ToH, Sin's Rebirth and Atziri's if you don't use brutality. All of that adds up. The advantage of Starforge is that you can be tankier and even use an extra 6L for extra damage instead of Koam's, bringing it closer to the DPS of a Disfavour Slayer.
NO.4 [Slayer Build] Demi's FlyingPurplePeople Lacerate, The ULTIMATE 2H RT Melee Slayer
This build has quite a few layers of defense. Fortify for 20% less damage taken from hits, that includes elemental hits. Our 75% elemental resists. Taste of Hate for less cold damage taken and that delicious physical mitigation. Basalt Flask for even more Phys mitigation. Stibnite flask for some evasion boost as well as Blind (enemies strugglefest to hit us), and the 3k flat Armour (which scales up to like 10k) from Lion's Roar. We also have constant Knockback to keep enemies at bay (thanks Lacerate for being "melee"). Prefer CWDT Enfeeble as well, for another "enemies deal less damage, have less crit multi/chance, and have less chance to hit" layer of safety. Endgame you want to aim for Starforge or Atziri's Disfavour or a high PDPS rare of your chosen weapon.

This prevents a ton of damage as well as making us immune to lousy RNG critical strike barrages from multiple hits.
Damage mitigation again but also a boost to our Slayer leech! Each time you have Blood Rage running (physical damage over time debuff) and you take a chunk of damage to proc our Immortal Call/Cast when Damage Taken setup (Physical immunity for .4 seconds) then you proc this Pantheon for another 50% MORE LEECH PER SECOND!

NO.5 [Ascendant Build] Bloody Explosive Cyclone With Disfavour + Haemophilia
After achieving 40/40 challenges and 126/126 atlas completion in SSF Harbinger league, Decided to test out a simple physical Cyclone setup as Scion using Disfavour + Haemophilia for bleed explosion and without relying on Vaal Pact. This build was also able to do Hydra Guardian deathless with sub-optimal 5L setup on Belly chest (the correct gem setup of Cyclone should be in Disfavour, but I have yet to 6L it).

+ High leech from physical damage makes it possible to drop Vaal Pact
+ Because you don't run Vaal Pact, traps in Uber Lab becomes no concern (especially if you wear Death's Door boots)
+ The unique flask that you will need is Lion's Roar
- Physical reflect can get one-shot you if you are not using Sibyl's lament + Soul of Yugul

Berserker + Slayer
Duelist Ascendancy (Slayer) -> Marauder Ascendancy (Berserker) -> Path of Marauder (3 Passives)
Raider + Slayer
Duelist Ascendancy (Slayer) -> Ranger Ascendancy (Raider) -> Path of Duelist (3 Passives)
Soul of Solaris (Major God) - 20% chance to take 50% less area damage, 8% reduced Elemental Damage taken if you haven't been Hit Recently
Soul of Arakaali (Major God) - 50% increased Recovery of Life and Energy Shield if you've stopped taking Damage Over Time Recently. Perfect for Blood Rage + Cast When Damage Taken + Immortal Call setup. Especially useful if you went for Slayer.
Soul of Yugul (Minor God) - 25% reduced reflected damage taken, 5% reduced cold Damage taken if you have been hit recently
Kill all for two passives.
Slayer vs. Champion:
Pick Slayer if you want Overleech and be able to tank physical reflect without relying on Sibyl's Lament. You will, however, need to link Fortify gem to Leap Slam for additional damage reduction.
Pick Champion if you want permanent fortify. You will need Sibyl's Lament to handle physical reflect. Alternatively, let your Ancestral totem control the physically reflect mob.
Berserker vs. Raider:
Pick Berserker if you want more leech and more burst damage for faster global mapping from Blood Rage and Silver Flask. Berserker has higher attack and movement speed for general mapping when you take a savage hit.
Pick Raider if you want more consistent damage with frenzy charges and onslaught vs. rare and unique monsters.
