WOW Classic Mage PVE Talent Guide - Arcane

In the previous article, U4N introduced Frost-Mage's PVE talent program. Here we will introduce Arcane-Mage's talents in Molten Core and Blackwing Lair.

If you have a good understanding of the skills of BOSS or mobs, and Dungeons is too serious, and want to compete with others for DPS rankings and get the first prize, you can choose this talent.

Arcane Talent Program

The talent with the red mark above must be topped up, which is directly related to your DPS ranking.

Arcane program
Arcane Subtlety (2/2)
Nothing to say, reduce Boss' resistance to your spells and lower your threat.

Magic Absorption (5/5), Arcane Concentration (5/5)
Both talents, whether they are upgrades or Dungeons, must be filled.

Arcane Meditation (3/3)
This is a must-have talent for PVE, I think there should be no reason to give it up.

Presence of Mind (1/1), Arcane Mind (5/5), Arcane Instability (3/3), Arcane Power (1/1)
These talents are all full, they not only improve your spell damage, speed up the attack, but also increase your magic limit, let you have more magic.

Frost program
Improved Frostbolt (5/5), Elemental Precision (3/3), Ice Shards (5/5), Piercing Ice (3/3), Frost Channeling (3/3)
These talents must be activated and the points must be filled up. They will also directly affect your DPS ranking. Although the subject of this article is Arcane-Mage, it does not mean that you cannot use Frost's skills when you When the Arcane skill is temporarily unavailable, you need to use the Frost skill to fill it.

The Improved Counterspell in the Arcane scheme does not have to be activated. You can make additional assignments according to your needs. But Arcane Resilience must be activated, otherwise you will not be able to activate Arcane Mind.

Arctic Reach in the Frost program does not necessarily need to be activated, you can assign it according to your needs.

If you don't want to activate Improved Counterspell and Arctic Reach, then you can save 3 skill points and consider whether you need to activate Wand Specialization, Magic Attunement or Improved Mana Shield depending on your situation.

Pros and Cons
Pros: about 10% higher than Frost damage.
Cons: If other mages do not activate Winter's Chill, then your damage is no different from Frost. Instead, because of the activation of Arcane Power, the mana is occasionally not enough.

This program does not have any life-saving skills. If Dungeons is going well, if you die 1 or 2 times for other reasons, then your DPS is still not as good as Frost, because Frost will not die at all.

Why is there no Winter's Chill if other mages are Frost?
That's because there are talents that both make money and are compatible with the team's Dungeons output. This talent doesn't activate Winter's Chill, even if the skill points are sufficient, it will be explained in a later article.
